Hi,I recently purchased some rugs on a local online auction. My experience has been with Navajo blankets and don't know much about rugs. I got a total of 8 rugs at the auction, five of which look to be possibly hand made. This is the largest at 47" x 76" not including the fringe. There is a 4" fringe on top and a 7" fringe across the bottom. I am trying to find out where it was made, how old is it, and is it worth getting appraised? The rugs were just listed as "area rugs". There was nothing else of any note at the auction in my opinion. The rugs all have different styles and to me it looked like a "collection. I look forward to any information or opinion you have. Thanks

Hi, Does anybody have an opinion on this rug. Would this be better described as a oriental rug or a Persian rug. If it is hand knotted, where would it have been made? Thanks.
