YES THEY SPELL KURK, QURK, QORK, KORK, CORK SOMETHING LIKE THIS. This types of wool are taken from under the neck of sheep. Very high quality long staple of wool which also very very soft, expensive. It is the best wool that one sheeps yield, sometimes also taken from armpit of sheep and maybe some around genitals.

I've pretty much only seen it spelled Kork, Kurk, Qurk. So many of these words get muddled by the translation as they seem to be spelled phonetically which inevitably has it's own spin.

HAHAHA I'll have to remember to mention that to customers next time we get an inquiry on a $10,000 Seirafian Isphahan. Sometimes Kurk wool is also taken from the belly... If that's what you mean?

You're correct to question that rug though. It's probably not Kurk wool as they say... As with many of these auctions.
