Hello.

Today i bought this wonderful rug. It was a private offer on Ebay and not so far from my home. The size is 320/215 cm.

I wondered about the very good condition. I guess it is a not so new rug from southwest Iran. Supersoft wool quality. Very nice colors, i think all natural. You see it is all wool foundation.
It is not the type i often hold in my hands so i am not sure: is it Luri, is it Khamseh or Gashgai, Yalameh or Abadeh. 50 years or more or less?

What do you know about?

Thanks,
Chris

I can't tell you anything about your rug but it's gorgeous. The green design in the middle next to the red is striking.

Thats what i think of it. Although Gashgai with such thick pile i never saw before.

jesco,
400,- Euro.

I attached a closer pic of the green cross. It is a good example for a natural green. You see the mixture of green and yellow, the color is lively. And next to it this wonderful madder red.
