My mother and father recently passed away and we just had all of the rugs and draperies professionally cleaned and the dry cleaner commented on a certain rug we had because it was in almost perfect condition and he said that he had never seen a used Karastan rug is such good condition. We have a Karastan SAROUK DESIGN (785) that measures according to the tag 8'8" X 15. I believe it is between 20 and 30 years old (not sure) in pristine condition. No stains, wear marks etc. . I have looked online and can find this design of rug but cannot find this size rug anywhere. Was this a special order or did they make them in this size and I just cannot find any? If you have a minute and could give me some advice or point me in the right direction in helping me with possible information / value for this rug I would greatly appreciate it. I do not want to part with it but it does not go with anything in our home, it is way too big, and I hate to see it just sit in the garage forever.
