you are wise to not believe age on this one. I don't think it's that old. I would guess 1980's or newer. cant say value for sure without better pictures. it doesn't seem like a horrible price at 550. you may be able to get lower. you want to make sure there's no moth damage, color run, serious stains, or buckles. they did mention surface soil. I wonder what that is. figure cleaning is usually $1-$3 per square foot. the rug should also lay flat. If you can get better images, we can help more. I think the rug is from Iran, probably not sarouk, but can't say for sure without necessary pics.
