Actually the rug is a family heirloom that has been in my home for decades. Unfortunately it is currently in storage so I can get any more pics so I guess an appraisal in not likely. It would be nice if someone could ID the type of rug for me.

I would agree with Ed, however netjim's right. especially for this type of rug the age is going to have a lot to do with value. Some are as old as the 40's, some as new as a few years. We'd need to see those specific images
