You should see if the owner can send you a photo of the back of the rug where the fringe meets the pile. If this rug is hand-knotted, it is definitely worth the $275. If it is machine-made, I'd pass. From the pattern and color scheme, I'd guess it was Turkish or Egyptian (that is, if it is a hand-knotted rug).

I had a similar patterned and colored rug in my shop about a month ago and it was a 2O year old Sino Sumac
But than again that is just based on the color pattern combo.
You need the pictures mentioned above

I guess it is a mashine made carpet. Look at the Abrash. They are part of the design and not random.
