probably chinese 90 line. Design has a lot of fusion. Some french aub influence, some peking, even the repeating lattice looks like it was borrowed from the field of the pazyryk rug lol. I don't know about 40 years, we'd have to see much better images. early 1980's may even be a stretch althoguh some production was in the 70s please take a look at this page here

Hello. What do you mean with "Art Deco"? The age of the rug...or the design? "Art Deco" chinese rugs till 1930 do have a typical palette of colors. The yours dont have this. I will drop the carpet into the 1970´s. Chris
