Hi, I'm new to Rug Rag but I've been around rugs for a long time and I just wanted some input. It looks Kurdish to me but that's a big area any help would be appriciated. It has some nice colors and designs and according to the seller its the link between the navajo and middle east weavers. The age is certainly not from the 1600's but more likely 1920's. http:...;kw=lg Thanks and Hi to everyone Ed

Maybe this seller's "0" button was stuck?

I agree with your Kurdish guess, Ed.

Thanks for your reply. When I originally clicked on it I thought I would be seeing a really exciting rug but it's no Doris Duke rug unless it really has a link to American Indian culture like she states. Anyone know anything about Navajo rugs? Anyway if anyone is interested it was listed once before as a kelim and at the bottom in questions from other members she explains the indian figures that are in it. I know it's a weird way to start on a forum but you have to start somewhere. Here's the link: http...ption I know the only real good point that I see she makes is that what happened to all the weavings before the first phase rugs. Anyway thanks for your patience. 000000000000 woopsss
