I am trying to identify the type and origin of this rug as well as ascertain value. The rug is wool, possibly Kilim, 8 x 10'. The fringe is tied in groups of 7 with approximately 17 tied at the ends. The length of the fringe is approximately 2". There appear to be 3-4 rows of tight stitching atop the fringe. See pics. Any information appreciated.

Thanks - Rick

welcome to the forum.

looks like an Indian (India Indian) interpretation of a navajo design. they usually feature that type of woven end. may be from a dep. store. these usually don't go for too much. could be as new as 10 years old, they're very quick to make.
