I would like to know what rug type/style is most demanded in California or in whole USA?
What is bought and favored most by collectors and co. ?

Hey, seems like people like reds and blues more now than the subtle. Take a look at the most watched on rugrag, and also check out the archive. in the FAQ's there are some recent purchases i belive.

Aha so more color-based...
But do you know if tere is also a specific style like Tabriz or Kashan etc. that are really popular in CA or USA generally?
My purpose of this question is that I want to know what types/styles of rugs I need to look for if I want to sell them again. So I won't have something that noOne is interested in....
