I am new to Persian carpets and trying to educate myself by looking at some of the old posts. The images are important to fully understand the comments. But all the included links to ebay or craigslist have expired. It would be nice to have an archive of example images or have a way of preserving the image with the post so that the value of the comments doesn't get lost.

That's a really good point Injun. I'll see if there's a possibility to have this automatically done. Otherwise, as I go through I'll use a print screen :)

Great idea! I've been saving the images that I want to keep in a file, but it would be great if they could be archived on the forum. If I can help in anyway, let me know.
