These are not high value but I think they are fun rugs. The dealer is a local guy in Riyadh.

They appear to be wool, hand knotted, he says with vegetable dies. Not fine work but I might buy them anyway.

I think they may be churning these out somewhere as I've seen a few similar styles. He says they are from Turkmenistan. I'd be grateful to know more.

The runner is an Afghan production called Kazak, which has some natural dyes in it. The rug seems to be a finer Persian Gabbeh with nicely finished ends, which also should have some natural dyes used in it.
