OK, I know this rug has some serious sun damage, much lighter on one side, a few fringes probably caught with someone's vacuum, but it was really cheap and I couldn't resist. Thick soft pile, cotton warp.

Still getting used to posting photos on this site. If file size too big, will attach as a download, when I resize the photos, they show up on the post. Dancing

I believe its a 1980s Bijar. Fine quality but the dyes are all chemical dyes but not bad chemical dyes. A good piece, shame about the fading, but I believe if it is shaved down a couple of mm then the original colour will resurface.

Nice little Bidjar (Rose-Bidjar) late 1980´s to mid 1990´s. Bidjars are pretty hard to shave unless you have high quality equipment so I would leave it as it is.

Thanks again guys! I wasn't sure if it was a Bijar, thought maybe it was, although faded, the wool is nice and thick. Thanks for all your help!!
