Think this is a 60+ year old Tabriz silk rug. Pictures are taken by seller. It is also signed.
Price is less than $1800. What are your opinions please? Thanks!!
Also, Can you tell me who signature is on the rug please? Forgot to mention the dimension: 39 by 60 inches.

From what I can read the signature says "Qum Arablu". And looking at the back I dont think it is Tabriz. It is difficult to price it properly. Especially with silk if there are any defects or damage the price comes down quite a lot. The repair is very expensive and not every repairer can do it. I cannot quite tell how fine it is either. However, if it is in good condition and has no defects then the shop price for it would be double that. Obviously the lower you can buy it the better (for you).
