Any thoughts on the age of this rug and if the color is a indication of it's age? 40 raj Also are pictorials coming back into favor? Thanks for any help

Looks like Qum, not Tabriz. Might be Kermanshah also, but I would say Qum from the images. 1960/70. Not looked after at the moment.

Colour can be an indication of age. I think it's about 50 years old but I do not think its a Tabriz but a Qum. Some antique pictorial rugs are very much in demand, but this does not qualify as a pictorial rug. The design is "zir khaky", which literally translates to under earth referring to antiques.
