Tabriz wool and silk rug?

Although the pictures might not show it, but there is a substantial amount of silk in the rug. Not that fine. but closely clipped with fine wool and dyes

I like it's drawings. Is the lower knot count, 40 RAJ, due to it's size? Does this knot count detract from it's value. I know knots count in only one factor, but I also thought the very nice Tabriz have a higher knot count.

Nice one!

I doubt Tabriz. Looks more central iran, my guess from the images would be Kashan. Knot structure looks like Kashan. Also blue small wefts are more common in this area. Check if it has persian or turkish knots.

Qum might be possible but I would say Kashan from the images. I like it very much, pretty rug - excactly my taste.

I think it is a very valuable rug and it is a Tehran. Wonderful piece, which seems to be in very good condition
