Hi, Glad to see the forum is back. Thank you to the administrators. I am posting pics of a small runner I recently purchased and would like to know where it is from. My guesses were Persian or possibly Kurdish? Hamadan maybe? Please let me know what you think. It is a small runner. Condition is fair, with a bit of moth damage and a couple corners chewed up by someones vacuum cleaner. It is kind of dirty in the pics but I washed it and it came through that pretty much OK. Thanks, Bruce cuzinbruce attached the following image(s):

I agree with Nick..Karaja...they come from a region northeast of the Heriz region and are single wefted, so you might think it is a Hamadan. But you tell the difference primarily from the medallion of your piece for this type of Karaja and similar weighted warps and wefts. Hamadan have rigid wefts and sinuous warps. But the medallions are a dead give-away.
