It might be. But from that image it is difficult to tell. You need close ups and image of the back of the rug

Thank you Sharafi. I bought it in an estate sale for $120. I am trying to work on the corners to fix them. Usually Newer Tabriz rugs have some silk in them but this one doesn't have any silk, is there any reason for it? I appreciate your time and knowledge.

You've certainly bought it next to nothin. The per square meter price is much higher than that. Not all Tabriz are part silk. In fact in most of the new production I prefer the ones without silk, as they use artificial silk in a my of them.
