Hi all,

This is my second post with pictures of Indian rugs. I am in Hyderabad India now.

This rug is also 6x9, silk on silk, with about 25x25 knots. After first negotiations, they ask $4000, which I think is too much, but they indicated a lower price would be possible.

Any comments? Thanks!

Jay....DID YOU GOOGLE???? DID YOU EXPLORE THE OFFERINGS of the Manufacturers right there? Did you get a more acute sense of things from this? did you also see the PRICLESS post of a true pundit on these rugs you like from an uber expert within yr first thread????

Are you on autopilot Indian silk rug mania? If so, pls exit that, focus and chill and GOOGLE. Go to the Taj. Meditate on he who built it and how long it took and its focus and deliberateness. And he...prolley din even have BROADBAND.

For what purpose are you considering purchase ? i.e. use, investment, etc.?
Where are you purchasing? store, bazaar, etc..
Where are you from?
Could you "take it or leave it"?
Are you comfortable negotiating.
Can you return items
