I've been going to FleaMarkets and Thrift stores for along time. I only wish I would have been scouting these rugs longer, I may have founda very nice one.
First of all, I appreciate the art and heritage pf these rugs, and thats what finally got me motivated, rather then pure profit, although I would like to find a nice one to sell.
The one I bought the other day, I learned, is NOT a hand woven oriental rug.
The rug I bought looks to be a very early power loomed rug before the computer era of weaving, meaning it still exhibits someimperfectionsinthe wave . Am I wrong?
The colors appear to be more vivid, and the pile appears thicker than a normal modern power loomed rug.
The wool also appears to be of good quality.
Is this worth Anything as far as a display rug?
I am trying to sell it, and I didn't pay much for it. Am i wrong to hope it is worth a couple fo hunded dollars. There is wear..no dodrs, overall allk very good condition .

I'm sorry, but this forum will not allow me to upload pictures. All I can do is give a link to my ebay auction;
