I got some feedback that this rug was 1910. It measures 3'3" x 4'5". It has selvedge issues an needs a repair to the lower right corner..loss of selvedge and some minimal pile loss. I found an example of it in a book..6 sided mirab. It has kilm at the bottom, not top. I HAVE seen similar ones online for about $1000. If that is its value, then I think I should get it repaired. CAN you tell me the repair should cost and it's age?
Thanks so much.

The colors are brighter than they appear in the photos. I retook these photos tonight in artificial light because my daytime photos were too big to upload.

A new pic with the color for well displayed. Is this sufficient for an evaluation?

A new hand performed selvage may be anywhere from $100 to $400 on this depending on how convincing or authentic to the piece you want it. It does look like a good piece with nice colors but I think you should stay on the lower end of that. See what people offer - of course be very cautious of machine selvage, and also be cautious of pre-fabricated selvages sewn on by hand.

I would find a professional and have this rug restored if I were you.

Thank you RugPro and RugFirm. Based on your feedback, I will have it professionally restored. Can you tell me of its probable age (1910?) and value range after it is restored. And, is @$400 the top end of the restoration cost? Thanks for all your feedback. .
