Fairly fine for a kayseri at 12x14 knot per inch. Closely cropped wool and cotton. I realize a believer doesn't step on a prayer rug with arab writing and I believe the kuric calligraphy is also a prayer repeated over each niche. Therefore, it would only be used for display.
I don't know if this would be a nice enough room to be used in the Middle East for display or simply another export.
I believe it's unusual, but unusual doesn't mean valuable. It is an attractive little piece.
Any info or comments on the rug or it's display use.
Thanks
