A very worn runner.

Rank: Newbie Groups: Member Joined: 2/2/2014(UTC) Posts: 9 Points: 27 Location: Michigan		Here is another rug that I'd like to identify. As you can see from the photos, it's VERY worn. There is actually a hole in one area, and another area with a slit, which looks almost as if it's been cut with something. I wonder if it has any value at all. lol This runner is 14'2" long and 3' wide. Thanks again Rug Rag bloggers, for your continued expert opinions. I am not too familiar with this type but they are known for being a bit coarser, not particularly desirable for the age. Runner dimensions I do believe to be a bit more unusual for sivas, although I would not say this rug has any significant value other than decorative considering it always was a fairly commercial hand made rug and it is quite worn as you note.
