I bought this rug today for 20 dollars. Tag says indo Tibetan 100%wool from India. Condition: DAL . I'm would like to know if it is hand knotted and what I would expect to pay retail? Thanks for any information you can provide!

It is handmade and a pretty piece. It would have been worth more if it was a genuine Tibetan rather than an Indian copy. While it does not have a great second hand value and you have got at a very good price, the retail value is anything between $150 to £200 a meter. In the states the Indo Nepalese knotted vary greatly based on material and density.
