I was given this rug by my parents when they retired and moved to a smaller home. I've been using it in a child's bedroom, but I'm thinking about trying to sell it as it really does not fit in with the style of my home. I am a complete novice when it comes to rugs, but in as far as I can tell it is hand-knotted - it's fringe is part of the rug, not sewn-on, the binding on the sides goes through the rug and minor inconsistencies are observable, it does have some minor inconsistencies in knot height, and it passes the malleability test with a satisfying flopping sound and is foldable. It is about 8 feet by 10 feet, and it's design is primarily dusty pink, dark red, medium blue & dark blue flowers in a geometric tile-like pattern, on an ivory background. I would appreciate any guidance on what what kind of rug this might be and if it is of any value. Thank you so much!
