This rug has the depressed knots but is almost too perfect to be a village rug It is 4X7 and I would sure love to know any info. One edge has the remains of loops so it appears it was hung for a time ago. I'm not thinking it's old. Thanks

the modern weave and fringes suggest turkish but not positive.... appraised value probably about $500. pretty persian design but not likely persian. $500 is a good estimate no matter the country of origin. but looks turkish.
