I have heard but know very little about the carpets made in Turkish prisions. The ones I have found on the internet have the signagure of the prisonor ID and prison it is made. This one has that also. Did I see a real Turkish prison rug? The dealer seemd to be very sure it was a prison rug but...you know, that was the dealer.
