I got these 2 rugs from my grandmother’s estate and assumed that they were Native American. Well I found out that they are not Native American, and I have no idea where are from. They are filthy dirty and need to be cleaned and I am worried about the very vibrant colors running. I assumed they were Native American, and I am also assuming they are late 19th, early 20th century. All I know fore sure is that they were used but there is no visible wear, just dirt. Grandma had quite a few very nice expensive Persian rugs and these 2 were not with them. I found them folded up behind a lot of stored stuff, some of which had not been touched for 60 years. I want to get them cleaned, and identified, possibly dated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
