Hallo,

few years ago this was the beginning of my rug love. I discovered this lovely rug and felt in love immediately.
And i was never interested into it before.

I haggled hard with the seller at a local fleemarket;left and came back. At the end only his wife was there -she wants to get rid of it- and gave me a half price.

Its much more vibrant an nice as the pictures can display, fine woven, soft with a silky shine, unusual botehs and great colours from black to orange. Its in wonderful condition. Size 200cmx100cm







Rekon its a semi-antic Turkmen from the...60s?

Thats funny...while looking at the picture #2 i just discovered a signature/date or is it just an artefact by accident ?

Look at the picture left from the second boteh from below at the left side.

Yes, Balouch was in my mind as well; but the botehs are so unusual, i`m not firm enough to make it That specific.

What do you think; how old is it +- ?
