not a rug, more like a tapestry, not handmade

Perhaps a tapestry that some would use as a rug? I don't know. It has the design of a carpet. Bottom line is this is used as decorative purpose atop a table or wall, slung over a chair, but generally an economic substitute for the look of a hand woven object.

thanks for the reply RugPro when my mom got the rug/tapestry in the late 60s she put it away it has never been used still trying to figure out what it is
