I have found what I believe to be the most beautiful carpet I have ever seen. It is just over 9x6 in size and a very deep blue. The kpsi appear to be nearly 500. This gem is about 5-10 years old looks like to me. What is the market for something of this quality. I took the pics with an iPad so the quality is not great, but maybe good enough. Thoughts?

The pics are not great quality, but I am sure you a price range can be established. The pics do no do this thing justice! It changes color many times as you walk around it, no angle is like looking at the same carpet. Any help and a ball park would be nice.

It is just over 9x6. It is amazing! I wonder if the US has a market for this and the price range it would go for?

I received this rug from a customer as a tip while delivering furniture. He had told me it was an oriental and that he paid over $2000 a little more then 10 years ago. Was jus wondering if anyone could help me out and let me kno what kind of rug it us and how much u thinks its worth now. There are 2 stains on the rug which I will send in the pics

It's a Chinese 90 line, very mass produced. He may well have paid $2000 for it new but it's not worth much now and not in that condition. These rugs are very susceptible to colour loss when wet/stained etc and are not popular nor great quality.

Not a bad tip depending on what you did but don't think you'll have much luck selling it.

Nice Qom, of course there is a (limited) market for rugs of these qualities, limited because there aren't many people who are able to and wish to spend the money on them.

It's a nice rug, typical of a real Qom, not my favourite design but everyone has their own taste.

What do you mean I wonder if the US has a market for them?
