A friend moved and gave this old rug to me. She thinks she got it in a thrift store "a long time ago". It looks hand made. There is fringe on one side only and it is braided. The colors are slightly lighter on teh top surface than the back. It looks hand knotted, but I'm not sure. It is 61 inches by 42 inches. The colors are a melon-orange, tan and a light gray. It has sort of a star patten.

Nice old rug - looks turkish but I would say morrocan production from the 1970`s.

Good-looking rug, most probably Turkish and about 50-60 years old.
