My name is Joseph, I live in the beautiful mountains in Western North Carolina near Asheville NC. I am living in a house built back in the early 1920's. My partner is from Hamburg Germany and we decided to move in together 2 years ago. She brought with her some amazing rugs she has had for years. We went to Istanbul last year and she encouraged me to buy a rug, I bought a beautiful wall piece. Just the culture, the bargaining, the atmosphere that was around the whole rug buying amazed me. Well I just bought another rug and I am starting to get the rug itch. Seems like a cool hobby and I appreciate this site for being so informative. Looking forward to learning from everyone here!
