I believe this is an old, in qum years, wool and silk 1930 with the nice blues. I've had a very nice silk qum gombad for years, yet I think this is much better to my eyes since sometimes less is better. This rug doesn't have the knot count about 300 versus 700 but I quess that is why knot count isn't everything.

4X6 lots of silk highlights Kinda interesting that the label is in farsi and list the dealer or creator or a name for some reason. I guess I could speculate and think this was for the Iranian rather than the western market however the label stiwll contains english. Lucky enough to buy it at an estate sale for $85 since it was very dirty and unattractive.

Any more info would be appreciated
