I recently inherited 3 antique rugs that I just began learning about. Unfortunately for me, I sold the first 2 to a local dealer who I think may have taken advantage of me.
At any rate I still have a runner rug that I have been told may be anywhere from 80-110 years old. I paid $125 to have it cleaned about a week ago, and it appears to me to be in pretty good condition, although there are 2 or 3 smaller holes.
The rug measures 17ft x 42inches, and I'm not sure but I've been told that it may be a 'Hamadan' or 'Malayer' rug.
I would very much love any assistance that anyone may be able to provide regarding a fair market price, as it's too long for my apartment and I could use the money.
