Hello !!! I want to ask information about this particular rug. This one is from a 19th-century house (built sometime in 1870) and the rug possibly was wall-to-wall in former times but more recently, cut by the present-day caretakers of the house. What makes me think about this rug to be a wall-to-wall one is the constant design and the lack of margins, present in almost 99% of the rugs I've seen.

What I want to know is "what" kind of rug is this, the name, and where I can buy one (I want a 120 X 230 cm. piece for my bedroom, I LOVE IT !!!!) and of course, how much it would cost. Thanks !!!

I don`t think the rug was cut, it is in its actual size from what I see. It is probably a machine made rug, but without a good picture of the back (knots) it is difficult to tell. I think you will have a hard time finding a rug like this in todays market. It you would supply a few close up pictures of about one quater of the design we can give you a quote to have it cutom made.

Actually I don't need a "100% exact" one like this, but a very similar one; with a similar design and constant pattern with no margins. If you make rugs I would like to know how much would cost a similar one, 120 X 230 cm.

To give you a more correct information I would need a better picture of the rug to get an idea how fine it need to be made. I was looking on the museums website if there are any better pictures but could not find any.
