This runner was purchased at a flea market from a guy who bought it in a lot from a storage unit of a rug collector in Afghanistan. It is 2' wide and 10' long. It has a stapled label with something written in (I think) Arabic and another very faded stapled label that says "100% wool" and some other things that are too faded to read. It's in excellent condition, no worn areas, no missing fringe. The center part is "fuzzy" pile and the end parts are woven. I'm curious if anyone can tell where or when this may have been made? And is it hand knotted? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
