Hanging my Rug

I recently purchased this wool rug in Turkey and want to hang it (approximately 4 feet by 5 feet.) I am wondering if the design is uni-directional. I would like to hang it horizontally as shown in the photo, but am not sure that is appropriate for the design inside the border. Suggestions? Comments?

You can basically hang a rug any way you like if it goes well with the dimensions of the wall it is going onto. With the symmetrical design on your rug, either way you hang the rug, it is going to look fine, or at least, this is what I think.
