Hello All,
Newbie here…Was trying to gather some information on these rugs…I know they are at least 80 years old…

Told they were purchased from an estate sale in the late 1930’s in Chicago…

Would like know anything you can tell me about them and what they might be worth if anything…I do not want to get appraised if it is not needed.

Thanks in advance!

Brian

No. 1 is a pictorial Persian Kerman, most probably of "ahmed Shah", a late king of the Persian empire. You have to understand that pieces like this have specific buyers and do not have a defined market value until a buyer comes along. No. 2 is a Persian short runner made in "Borchalu", about 60 years old but with a very low market price. No. 3 is a Hamadan (Khamseh) runner of a commercial grade. All in all, these pieces are not going to bring you a lot of cash, and I would hold on to them if I were you. Just enjoy them on your floor.
