I originally had this posted in Rug Estimator Discussion but I think that was the wrong place to place. If a mod wants to merge/move the thread, please do.

Anyways, here is a copy of what is in that thread:

Hi, I'm new, so forgive me if I'm doing something incorrectly.

Anyways, we found a rug left out as trash. I don't know what possessed us to pick it up, but we did and it's been sitting in storage for a few years. We're curious as to whether or not it's worth keeping/repairing. My gut tells me it's machine made, but I don't have a clue what I'm talking about. We were thinking maybe it could be cut down or made into two carpets if it was worthwhile and the damage is too extensive to repair (the fringe ends are completely missing).

Anyways, I've attached some pictures as requested from here plus some extras just in case. Please let me know if more are needed.

Thanks for the help.

Rather than clutter up the board by adding pictures again, please follow the link above to see the attached pictures.

This seems to be an older machine made carpet not of significant value IMHO

So, given how dirty and damaged it is, it's probably best to toss it? Thanks for the help.
