Hello, just wondering if anybody can help with id/value of this rug. I purchased it in Afghanistan a few years back while on deployment. The dealer stated that it was Iranian. I took along one of my interpreters who also collected rugs to make sure I wasn't getting ripped off. I would just like to know some more information on it.

The rug is 3'3" x 5'6"

Any help would be appreciated.

Updated information on this rug:

I confirmed it was silk via a burn test.

I have come up with a KPSI of 480 for this rug.

Thanks
