I have an older Navajo rug that goes back to 1950's. My mom got it somewhere back then, and I never really liked it, so didn't pay much attention to it for many years. I've now decided I'd like to try to isolate the area where it might have come from based on colors and patterns.

It has oranges, blacks, greys, cream, and a touch of red. It has feathers and little squares in the pattern.

It needs some restoration, and I'm fortunate to live close to Tucson where there are several good choices to have the rug repaired.

I would like to post a picture in hopes that there might be some knowledgeable folks on this forum who might be able to shed some light on the origins of my old ragged rug, but I can't find any directions on how to do so.
