This is a Persian Tabriz rug and perhaps over 30 years old, showing images of the famous monuments of "Taghe Kasra", "Pasargad", "Soltanieh", and "Aali Ghapoo" in the four separated sections of the field with a picture of the late Shah of Iran together with the Queen. To many people, all of this means nothing and has no value whatsoever. However, it may be a very valuable piece to others. It is very difficult to determine a fair market value on pieces like this one, but something around 1500-2000 USD or even higher for a private user would not be unreasonable.
