Dear Rug Rag Members

I have been so grateful for all the information on this website. It has helped me increase my knowledge and reduce the chances of being scammed....

I was in India just last week and bought a silk Kashmiri rug but a few days later, started having doubts but it is too late. I have bought the rug already and left India.

I would appreciate if you could have a quick review and let me know what you think its market value is?

Details are:
Kashmiri
Silk (not sure if foundation is cotton or silk)
529 (23x23) kpsi
120cm x 80xm (2.6ft x 4ft)
Price ... US$1000

I have done the burn test and it is real silk.

Any ideas would be highly appreciated.
