Hi all again,

this is a second rug I bought at the same auction of the previous post.
It is even finer than the previous one. Should be about 400 KPSI. It was sold as "rug", without any further detail. Its dimensions are about 6 x 9 feet.
From an Internet search, I suspect that both this rug and the previous one might be Kayseri (or Kaysari) Turkish rugs, but this is just a suspect.

thank for your opinion. I will make a test whether the silk is real or artificial, but I cannot before the end of next week. The carpet anyway should be at least 20-30 years old.
A distinctive feature of this rug (and of the other one I posted on December 8) are the jagged leaves weaved everywhere in the main border. I don't know if they mean something. I will try to post better pictures when I will tell the results of the silk test, in a couple of weeks.
I any case, the rugs were quite inexpensive. I bought this for 123 Euros (about 165 US$).
