Both your rugs are handmade. The runner is a Persian Hamadan, about 40 years old with a cotton foundation and a wool pile, low commercial grade. The other rug looks like a relatively new Pakistani rug with a cotton foundation and wool pile.

Second one looks like a Khoytan probably woven in Afghaistan.
