I received this Persian? rug as a wedding gift 20 years ago and am trying to identify what kind of rug and an estimate of value. Rug is 12X16 ft. I am sure that it was purchased 40+ years ago. Any help is greatly appreciated. Pictures are attached. Rugnewbie attached the following image(s):

This is a Persian Arak with a cotton foundation and a wool pile. It is over 50 years old, and if it is in good condition, it is worth around 3500-3800. Looks like it needs a good wash. colors will turn out much nicer after cleaning.
