I am brand new here today and am not familiar yet with the format. I have a rug that I'd like to sell on eBay and have no idea what kind of rug it is or what it is worth. I do have photos and will post them if I can figure out how.d'oh! Oh....I just figured out how...I think. Applause

This looks like a 1930s-1940s Persian Hamadan rug. Perhaps an eBay selling person can chime in here, but in my retail opinion, this rug appears to be too worn to have great value.

This is an old Persian rug from the area between Hamadan and Arak, and with such a worn pile, it is not worth much.

I am moving out of state and need to sell my household. Would anyone be willing to tell me about how much I might charge for this rug? I understand it isn't worth much but I don't want to sell it for 5.00 if I could get 20.00. (Every little bit helps.)

In my opinion, ask for $35-$40 if you find a private buyer for it.
