My mom inherited the estate of a dear friend who had several Persian rugs in her home. We would like to sell these pieces, but we don't know where to start, as far as what they are and what they might be worth. There is one large room-sized rug (probably 10x12 feet or so) that was purchased in the 1960s, I believe. Then there is a smaller, what I would call a "table-sized" rug (maybe 4x6 feet), a hall runner (probably 4x12 feet), a stair runner (4x10 feet-ish) and a doormat-sized rug (3 feet by 2 feet-ish). All but the largest rug are believed to have been purchased in the 1970's. We are fairly certain that all of these pieces were purchased from Amir Rugs in Richmond, Virginia. I've included a few photos of these rugs, and would value greatly ANY information you might have as to the identification of these rugs, as well as what they might be valued at. We are definitely looking to sell these, but we need a starting point as far as a sale price.
Links to my photos are below. Thanks so much for any info you can provide!
